Here in the studio today, we have a guest speaker, Sir Montel du Monde. He is one of the knights of the famous Templar sent on the Crusade by Pope Urban II in hopes of regaining the holy land stolen from us by those wretched Muslims!
How has it been like on the crusade my good sir?
It is quite harsh you see, we wear heavy armor all day and ride for days on end to reach our point of destination. However, riding together as a band of brotherhood is a slight miss of the greatest feeling in the world.
Who is your allegiance towards good sir?
My allegiance is to the pope and only the pope and no else.
How many people have you killed in the name of god good sir?
103 and counting
And where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Still following the order of the pope and condemning our enemies to the pits of hell!

The Templars have successfully completed their first crusade!! After the successes of the first crusade, the French knight Hugues de Payens and his relative Godfrey de Saint-Omer, proposed the creation of a monastic order for the protection of these templar. It was not soon before King Baldwin II of Jerusalem agreed to this and gave the templar a headquarters at Temple Mount in the previous Al Aqsa Mosque that we captured. The early Templar had little resources to support them, as indicated by their famous signature emblem. However, it was not long before a powerful figure spoke out for them, and here he is today! Introducing, Saint Bernard of Clairvaux.
Dear Saint, what made you speak out for these Templars’?
I am a nephew of one of the founding knights, but not only that but I believe everything the knights achieve is just.
Why do you think you will be able to accomplish this?
I am a Saint, a man of holy words, and my words will be abided by.
How do you plan on doing this sir?
I plan on attending the Council of Troyes in 1129 and speaking my whole heart out about the crusade.
Do you believe people will accept this movement?
Of course they will! These crusades are the reason people are living in the land they are today. It’s the reason why they’re ALIVE today. We would’ve been invaded years ago if it hadn’t been for the brilliant decision of the pope to fight for our right to survive!
What do you hope to gain from this?
Personal gain, I expect nothing. I am doing this on behalf of the cause, the crusade. Nothing more nothing less. If people were to support the crusade on it’s movement to claiming of holy lands, by giving a little tribute here and there, we wouldn’t be having this trouble.
Where do you see our crusades going towards?
I see us conquering every single land out there, from Coast to Coast! We will drive all our enemies off the land! Haha

Our current raids are not enough, we have been taking small portions of your crops, and wealth. But with our successes, I believe, now is the time, to claim it all. We will take EVERYTHING from you.

8 years have passed since the invasion of Mercia and the occupation of the English Land. We have engaged our war with King Alfred’s Wessex. We have remained in stalemate with them. We have finally decided to sign the treaty of Wedmore Guthram, stating that Guthram agrees to move our men out of Wessex and convert to Christianity. This treaty also states that, we the Vikings receive a part of England.
I guess all good things had to come to an end sometime. I believe that with this treaty, ends the age of the Vikings. We don’t have the power over other sanctioned civilizations anymore. This is Kilgishga~
